We are considering adopting a Vanguard-style system of PvP points. In this system, each player will start with a set number of points (say 5). Each kill on a person awards 10% of their points to their killer. Kills that happen immediately after other kills will be awarded less points - say 2%.

Although i don't think killing a player should be worth 17 more points than they had by themselves.

Yeah it's kind of bunk that someone can get a bunch of points for a kill but not be worth nearly as many themself. The new system will hopefully address this - will implement it later tonight! I have a date with a rack of ribs at a smokehouse in the near future here.
