Why play on a pvp server if you don't want any competition? Like, is it really fun to kill newbies in rags with epic vp geared characters?

If yes, why? Because it makes you feel powerful? It makes you feel accomplished? It really just does not make sense to me but perhaps if I had a different mentality I would understand.
