As a trekky im starving for new star trek content but id hate for another star trek series to end up only making it to the 4th season mark and get cancelled.

I feel the same way to a point. However, 4 seasons of star trek is so much better than no star trek.

Michael Dorn himself confirmed at Comic-Con this year that while he'd love to do it, there's absolutely nothing official in the works even considering it.

Worf pretty much gave up his chance at going higher than a Lt Commander when he compromised a mission in order to save Jadzia Dax.... Sisko said as much.

I'd prefer something from a Klingon Empire/Romulan/Cardassian angle - get the fuck away from the Federation for a series and even paint the Fed as the bad guys [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Still plenty of opportunities for cameos of course.

I wish they revisited those bug aliens that took over the admirals in Starfleet Command in the episode Conspiracy.
