Legendary Items that Never Existed

I had an Al`Kabor's Propylon of the Nexus and the "of the Nexus" title, dem was the days. 4 people per server. It was from a gm event in Dreadlands.

Rumor went rampant back in these days. XX has a hidden proc, (Lamentation on my server) which is why it is so amazing. I wonder how many others dealed (or better yet, created) with the "hidden proc". Also being 15 years old at the time didn't help.

Ele and Hughie nailed it. Either the guy was misinformed or it was a special item from the legends server thing that he had no chance of seeing. On normal servers, the propylon artifact was the only item with the Nexus gate effect, and with a 20 second cast time like you mentioned. There were only four max per server, and it was locked to those who won it since it was No Drop like all of the other artifacts I remember. It was such a nice item to have, even long after Luclin, so I'm not surprised the guy clung to the hope that a tradeable version existed.

if i remember correctly gms often created their own items that were insane

on vallon zek i remember there was a particular GM that dealt with LnS rules and had an item that he could insta cast knock back and would force the player that /petitioned about abuse over LNS he was too hard headed to actually leave for an hour and honor the damn rule would throw them thru the zoneline and say dont come back for an hour lmao

I do remember back on live, I'm pretty sure it was a rumor stated to drive the price up, that centi long swords were going to be made lore and the "pre nerf" ones had their price doubled overnight.

There is afew legendary items that do actually exist. Dev items gone wrong etc. I'm talking about on live servers here.

+100dmg aug's that fit any weapon slot - I know of two in existence on FV server.

Instant heal clicky ring (Paladin LoH spell)

This will help. Also the FA had a messed up proc and it did the DD per tic and would stack. We had a paladin solo Gore that way during kunark. Was nuts.

This is reported to have been awarded to one ranger per server after winning the Best of the Best competition in 1999.

It's also been reported that this is false, and that it actually came from the GM event "The Demise of Ghargin Dumblok" which happened following the kidnapping and rescue of Firiona Vie after the launch of Ruins of Kunark.

The item lore ("Bow passed down by the Oakwynd family") is in reference to the end of the event in which the troll Ghargin Dumblock was slain by Lyirae Oakwynd with the bow, avenging the death of her twin brother Loriysn. On some servers, the bow was even given to classes other than a ranger.
