Ultimately it depends on what you consider a part of the classic EQ experience. While I like some features that make the game challenging and realistic in a way(such as the absence of maps and night blindness of humans), I don't like the old UI and will be extremely annoyed if anybody forced it on me. And I like to solo light blues, partly because they are much better for an untwinked druid to solo. I guess it's always a fine line between making a game challenging and making it annoying - and the line depends too much on the people involved.

As for me, as long as I am not supposed to run instances and raids(and am allowed to travel in small groups) I am not complaining.
