Playing with your non classic all 8 bags open, 4 hotbars with 10 hotbuttons each. Being able to memorize a spell while looking at your surroundings.

You will rue the way you were coddled into this easymode habit you call your P99 play. That all will come crashing down and when you are expected to play classic as it was meant to be played there will be tears. You may miss your min/max, FTE, SoulFire and Bladestopper spamfest you have now. But shit ain't classic.

The point of the server is to get as close to classic everquest as possible. Obviously things are going to be slightly different when there is 15 years of hindsight to work with. With that said, if the point is to emulate classic everquest as best they can, this is another small thing that brings it one step closer, imo.

Now, personally i dont care if I see colors or not, but I do sometimes wonder if they are trying to see if they can duplicate conditions as they were in 99 or really are trying to re-create the fun that was had by so many. These 2 points of View are not one in the same.

You have to remember this game, "EQ" was originally designed to attract 12 to 15 years old boys, who did not really know their ass from a hole in the ground compared to an adult. to play this game., that lived in their mom's basement.

Well most adults which most of us are now, that have played this game for years know that the original Devs made a LOT of stupid mistakes that got corrected in later expansions. So we, me as an adult sort of is not going to "play" Classic in this day and age because it pretty much sucked at the time and with what I know and you know going back there totally is just crazy.
