New player!

Hello everyone! I'm looking forward to playing really soon. I've got everything setup and ready to go but I haven't made a character yet. I'm not sure what I want to make really. I think I'd be up for playing anything if I had some folks to play with. Back in the day I had a druid on the Xev server. I played from a bit before Kunark came out up to after LDoN released. Are there any guilds that take new players? I think having other people around to play with is one of the most important things in this game.

I played for a bit on a progression server and had a blast. I did some raiding but I couldn't keep playing at the time. When I could come back, the server had already advanced pretty far and I lost interest in playing. I do miss it, so I decided to check this out when I heard of it. I just really wish I could get any of my friends interested in playing with me here but they never played before and I can't spark any interest in them.

I've been thinking about it and I'm still not sure what class I want to make. I do have it narrowed down though. I always wanted to roll an enchanter but never got around to it years ago. However, I do remember that, while needed, you don't need a lot of them. After looking through the guild section of the forum I did see a lot of medium to low priority for enchanter recruiting. I do want to be able to get into groups and people always seem to need clerics but I'm worried that might be a bit boring to play. If anyone has any opinions I'd love to hear them! I'm still up for making almost anything, this is just what I was thinking about today.

Hello and welcome. I rolled a druid first to make me some pp. Outfitted the rest of my characters that way.

I thought about having a druid and I might eventually roll one but if I can make do without that'll be nice. I played a druid for years so I'm looking to do something a little different. I started up a cleric last night and got it up to 5. I think I'll keep with it unless I really end up hating it. What I'm curious about now is, where are the hot zones of activity? I'm assuming things are similar to live but you never know. I'd like to be ready to travel if I have to! I'm currently in GFay.

Crushbone, Oasis, Unrest, Guk (To a point), and Mistmoore are all very popular grouping spots.

Had a lot of fun in Crushbone last night! Managed to get up to 10, almost 11! I'm glad everything has been pretty active so far. I'll head to Unrest when I get the level for it I guess.
