How does 50 children dying affect you? How would 1 child, yours, affect you? It's all relative.
To end violence, the cause needs to be eliminated, all the rejection, the bullying, the uncertain times of childrens parents. Envy, greed and lust. They are a natural part of life as any other and while most people learn to deal and make their lives better, some see things as hopeless and unbearable.
You've seen the talking heads on TV say it a million times, we don't live in a perfect world and we never will. Keep your family and yourself, safe. Try as best you can, even if its in EQ, derive some happiness from life or you just might be on the 6 o'clock news too.
