P99 Politics is a curious thing; an EC Robber Baron, A Forum Lawyer, and a Guild Leader. In between them a common neck-beard. Each bids the neck beard to strip and RMT the other two. Who lives, and who gets banned? GM Favoritism resides where men believe it resides. It's a trick. An illusion. A shadow on the wall.

And one small neck-beard can cast a very large shadow.

I don't really like TMO or anything, but selling your guild's property and lying to try to get around to it is lower than pretty much everything but RMTing.

It looks like you only sold it because you thought TMO leadership would forget you had the stone for so long and had forgotten about it, and thus you'd get away with it scot free.

You would be right if I accepted the new version of TMO as legitimate. Which I never did, and really did not have any reason to after the new leaderships actions. They steamrolled over a lot of good members to get FE free loot.

I also did this transaction whilst untagged - in TMOI - if anyone cares (Man O War).

Doesn't matter, regardless of how you felt about the leadership at the time, it wasn't your stone to sell.

Did you honestly expect TMO leadership to not kick you/tell the server of your dishonesty when they found out?

As I said before, it's irrelevant whether or not the new party is "legitimate." Look, you know I'm not trying to beat you up; we've already made clear our personal stances towards each other amicably, but the issue is misappropriation.

There's two views on this, and what happened is improper under both.

A lot of people are arguing that when Zeelot disbanded and TMO reformed without him that the old guild was dead, and the new one inherited nothing. If that's true then it's dishonest to take the money and run simply because you were left holding it. That's like the treasurer of your book club taking all the cash to buy some sweet ass hardcovers for himself after the club disbands.

In reality, that's what a lot of people would do, but that doesn't make it right.

Alternatively, a lot of us see the current TMO the exact same as the old one because we have many of the same officers and the same guild leader that we did when the old TMO was disbanded. If this is the case, then there is clearly no right to take an item from the bank for pure personal gain.

Hmmm. What around March 2nd could have made me angry enough at NEW TMO's leadership to do something like that? And then disrespect Mazam like that when he singled me out for a VS stone MQ while 4 others were simultaneously being sold in EC. Let's check the memory banks...

Maybe a current TMO officer stripping a friends account? I guess stealings obviously not a big deal to Mazam, as long as youre in his clique and a TMO officer.
thief in TMO, lets tell the whole server. Oh and lets tell the server the time when Crazyeyes stole and sold that epic MQ, and remained in guild, with a DKP dock. When epics actually mattered. Hmmm, oh and yeah lets talk about how Fazlazen was auctioning off guild loot and continues to do so. Do you want more similar examples that have been tolerated by this guild? Because I can keep going

Crazyeyes didn't sell the Eye, he was just pissed. We had a vote before we let him back into the guild and even then it was at Zeelot's discretion.

Fountree, would you like to be put up for a vote to see if people want you back?
