When you deal with content, you run across conflicting information all the time. The tricky part is differentiating which is the most accurate. The average player who comes across someone who looks like a guard and attacks, is going to assume that they are a Corrupt Guard. Especially given that the two factions don't have a whole lot delineating them, and the majority of things that will give faction hits for one, will give faction hits for both.
It's like Crusader Quarg in Field of bone. I guarantee you we will get bug reports about him not being on Crusader faction.
I've come across Lieutenant Dagarok's information repeatedly while researching, so it's not a topic that's unfamiliar to me.
