You are welcome.

All donations may be forwarded to Daldaen. Platinum, Resist and Twink gear accepted. Excess Pulsing Green Stones also appreciated.

Venril didn't always have the wizard staff for sure.

I'd say.... uncommon? But maybe that's just the staff rotation he has and RNG.

as a wiz on live he def didnt always have the staff

and I used to get pissed how easy druid/rangers epic's were after each Venril kill [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

also the staffs he drops have nothing to due with the Gnarled staff as its a different part of the loot table

he 'could' drop 2 random crappy class specific staffs and also the Gnarled staff along with his stones

but the Gnarled staff was never there for me on my wiz til they made it drop 'every time' with Velious epic changes

That gnarled was 2hb for a bit iirc. Unsure if Nilberg has that pencilled in to his time line. Small potaters tho.

Sort of irrelevant. That would be like changing something to the Staff of Elementary Mastery: Earth.

By the time you get the staff, it's 15 minutes of running around and you have your epic.

I thought that was changed during Kunark though. Same with Blue Crystal Staff.

If you get gnarled staff, there is a 99.9999% chance that you already have the rest of the epic done. So while incorrect, no one is going to equip it anyways since they spend 15 minutes running around completing the turnin for the epic. Same with Mage Staff. If you get that, it's almost guaranteed it's your last piece.

And I thought Gnarled and Blue Crystal Staves were both 2HB and changed to be 1HB in late Kunark?
