As far as OP is concerned, both guilds have huge flaws. Neither is close to as fun as classic EQ guilds were, at least in my opinion. Voice Chat has ruined gaming, and reduced peoples skill. In live, people had to react to fucked up pulls and mechanics without relying on Typical_Cursing_Shouting_Guildleader01 to drop multiple f bombs on them and hold their hands. People seem far more rustled here on both sides 24/7 than I ever remember on live, and this includes periods on live of great douchebaggery such as cockblocking RZTW.

Ultimately, if your goal is to slay big dragons in NToV, your only option will be Nihilum. There are some obnoxious people, but that's the same in every guild in every video game ever [and the same in real life such as that annoying cousin and co-worker]. Unlike real life though, you can mute and /ignore these people. Despite the propaganda, Nihilum is "fair", I've never had an issue with loot or anything like that. I'm not a fan of the "drop a bunch of curse words on people" method of leading, but it seems like everyone does that these days. Good luck.

You mean a 4 level range pvp server with item loot is classic? Hm sounds like that might be the whole point/fun.

Partials and cc spells need to be WAY more tuned across the board before you do it though.


As far as rustled/toxic people here... its the VZTZ crew and all the blue server rejects. Wow how could this community ever turned out this way? Hm.

hmm yes it's very strange that hughman, the guy who tanked the dragon and helped them pull it into a wall, and nerfed, one of their only clerics who was also there from day one, both openly admit that nagafen was intentionally dragged into the wall so that it wouldn't aoe all three times they killed it
