Super cheap weapon for rogue?

Hey guys, I'm new to the server and am pretty ignorant when it comes to classic weapons and stuff, I'm a level 11 rogue wondering what my best option for a weapon would be, I'm currently using a giant snake fang, but it's not great. Since I only have around 30pp, what would my best option be?

Also, once I get dual wield should my offhand be a 1h slash weapon? Any advice would be much appreciated

Some ideas for cheap piercers:

Dragoon Dirk
Obsidian Shard
Sacrificial Dagger
Serrated Bone Dirk

Get best weapon you can afford for offhand, whether it's 1HS, Pierce, or 1HB.

Lots of people are farming Droga these days, at least on Red. Can probably find someone giving away this http://wiki.project1999.com/Goblin_Backstabber or Rukgus Sticker

Jagged Chokidai Spines (9/25 with decent stats) drop like candy in Chardok which is AoE'd 24/7. I've given a couple away from the 2 times I was there. Can probably find one super cheap.

This. Shouldn't run more than 100p since the lights never go out in Chardok. Excellent starter weapon.

Jambiya is super cheap. If you are new and you find someone selling one, you might just get it for free. I spend quite a bit of time in EC over this past weekend and I was given all kinds of things since I am new to the server. It is a really great community.
It was a long time until I was able to get a "magic" weapon when I played Live, then again, everyone was a newb at that time.
