I guess against outdoor dragons it will stop you from running in fear?
Do treeform and spirit of the oak actually do this? That's pretty cool, if yes. I mean, not that being stuck in place but still without control of your character is really a GOOD thing... but it's slightly less bad than running around I guess.

Yea it does. But it doesn't block fear outright. It just keeps you still.

Useful if your Druid is low level or low MR i suppose.

I used treeform when soloing undead. Somewhat useful in PvP vs dumb opponents.

I seem to remember Bark Potion did this, I don't see why tree form wouldn't.

Maybe I am crazy but I seem to remember you could move around a bit in Treeform. We would get like 6 or 7 Druids and sort of block the whole entrance to the tunnel on Torvo. But that was a LONG time ago. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I remember this on Torvon. Who were you there?

Treeform costs 30 mana. You have to re-cast your SoW so it's 70 mana total. It adds a tiny amount of health regen, you'd have to sit still for 3 minutes to break even with the healing you'd get from just casting your healing spells.

Spirit of Oak is better, but "amazing" is a stretch. The mana you get from medding under Spirit of Oak is less than 50% better than regular meditate, and there is still a 65 mana initial investment. You also have to sit there without SoW on. The biggest problem with Spirit of Oak is that it is a level 59 spell, so you can't even cast it until you are done with most of your outdoor leveling.
Spirit of Oak is one of the best spells in the druid's repertoire. Fungi + Regrowth + Treeform is something like 47 hp/tick. With a manastone this is a huge deal. Without Manastone/Fungi it still is a godmode spell. Its like 10 mana/tick 17 hp/tick. You are a moron if you are doing any outdoor camp and not using this.

Protip: If you cast wolf form first then you just become a giant version of your race and it doesn't cause the annoying giant tree hit/click box

Double Protip: This also works by simply using your Guise of the Deceiver. Just be in Dark elf form when you cast and voila, you turn into your 'real' race and not a tree.
