Yeah I did visit her like a month ago. I came down for mother's day and decided to stick around and help her out with some stuff (she runs a small organic farm in retirement and could use a lusty young fellow like me for some hard labor - due to poor weather I have mostly been working on just her website, though).

Pokey stix are definitely the least offensive item at Gumby's/Goomba's, but they are still made from C or D-grade non-fresh ingredients and are crap. In fact, the last time I ordered Goomba's I got Pokey Stix and they didn't come with any amount of sauce (I prefer pizza sauce with such a thing - ranch is for morans). They never even offered me any sauce for additional money when I placed the order and they somehow just expected me to know that I should specifically request sauce for additional money.
