And btw im not saying pvp is wrong.

Im saying lets see what happens when twinks get other twinks to fight them instead of newbs in rags.

I'm about as much of a newb as possible. Started playing in February on blue, made it to 30, then tried red starting a couple weeks ago. Never played EQ before. Red has been way more fun.

I just went 14-31 in Unrest. Why? It was the best option for me starting with nothing as I was familiar with it, good xp, good coin, gear upgrades. All of those things in one place limited travel time and just allowed me to play. I don't know where else I would have gone.

That said the twink PK'rs were somewhat frustrating at first but after just sticking with it, it wasn't really that bad. Multiple times with full groups we were able to at least chase them off. I don't know that we ever killed one. But it was fun trying and good practice.

I mean it sucks getting coined when you are new and can't even keep up on spell costs but it seemed like every time I was the worst off someone would randomly throw some coin or gems to help out. I met a number of really cool, helpful people. Well worth the small amount of grief I saw.

Anyway. I wouldn't avoid the zone. But make sure you go in with the right mindset. Band up and fight back and if that doesn't work and the odds are too stacked against you leave or play another character or do something else for a while. Just enjoy the game and don't get tunnel vision as to allow others to take away your enjoyment. There are always options.
Agreed - It's why I have like four characters going at the same time right now. Try to fill in all kinds of groups, or when shit gets crazy, do something else.

Well have some knee jerk bandwagon lets hate on nilly why dont you

Cheaters deserve what they get, you think im going to change my tune cuz im flying the Nihilum tag? Wether its sector or the guys that logged their shit to transfer stuff, cheaters deserve to eat bans.

You can quote anything i said on nihilum and ill stand by it.

First day in Nihilum and i got handed pox and spirit of the howler. You can look up my post history and find the post where i say that nihi (back in 2012) handed me a dracolich 2h on day1 of me joining their guild. Every person i met has the same story about Azrael using "down belows" as a way to get pixels for the inner core. For all the shit talk about nihi being pixel whores, ive never experienced such pixel whoring in any MMO than what i experienced in Azrael.

Ive got more shit done in 7 days of nihi and red dawn than i got out of 6 months of Azrael. For example, i had my epic 3 days after joining red dawn. When i was in Azrael, we were doing Andis's alt epic before helping other toons with their mains. When there was a heavy grind, Lite had us wait for PVP for hours on end while there was an xp bonus in effect that should have been taken advantage of (it only lasted a couple of days). 2 days in a row. Because Lite and the "higher ups" were already 60. Thats Lite's general grand leadership, team player vision you can expect and thats why Az is not going anywhere soon.

Anyhow im not getting into this shit fest. See you on the battlefield, ive chosen my side.

Funny. Watched you help a twink bard harass a bunch of new players in MM/Lfay.

It's a rite of passage getting harassed by someone who shouldn't be bothering with you.

Its not about pixels, its about your fair share of the work you put in. Its about being team players, not greedy pixel junkies like Andis and Lite. Things might have changed a bit since I was in Azrael, since they got ripped a new asshole about this on forums a couple of times, and the "loot council" must know their reputation by now. In a self-serving way, this was (is?) a problem to be dealt with if they werent gonna leak players badly. But im guessing Lite's leadership is just as bad as it always was.

Wasn't complaining. Just pointing out he was on the opposing side of the exact situation he found himself in, in Unrest.

Turned into a 2 hour fight that was annoying at the time but it was still fun trying to figure out how to take the bard down with an oor healer always by his side and not many resources on our end.

I was the sole buffing shaman for parts of saturdays big raid day, and i did well. I dont really like playing shaman in raids but i kinda got used to it. No dps, just keep the buffs memed and stay on the ball on buffs, for the team.

I was guilded already, im not in Nizzars mind but it felt like here you go, you stayed with us throughout the day, the only shaman for a while, heres your just due.

The fact that you claim i didnt put in work shows your bias, as saturday was a big day with multiple big pvp fights, PVE targets. Your mind is already made up as to whats going on here, so no point in carrying on this conversation.

Also, you realize you come shitting in a thread where im saying we should defend noobs in rags against twinks they basically have no chance against, something i thought youd view favorably.
