Anti-PK guild on a FFA PvP server defeats a purpose of a FFA PvP server.
You kill anyone you can kill as soon as you find them. That's what FFA is.
I mean you don't have to, but you should always expect that they will do this to you as soon as you turn your back.

That's why Teams PvP have always been more successful and acceptable - it gives you some direction and reasoning who to kill.

The people who invented the first space ships were brilliant. That doesn't mean anybody should actually want to use them 200 years later. Ideas are limited by means of execution. Everquest has amazing ideas that need to be completely reworked in their execution, in order for classic Everquest as it was envisioned to actually exist and continue to be relevant as things have evolved.

I don't think I can play a bard here after being spoiled with FM back in the day on live. But yeah TMO is blue's Nihilum, and who wants that? TMO has lots of great people but you end up being the big bad guy. Red has that. We want like a Divinity guild because we're lacking it atm.
Y'know, I get that often. People so mad at me sometimes for just having a TMO tag. Like I didn't run around rezzing people for fucking four years straight beforehand. Like I haven't PL'd half the goddamn server. Ingrates, man :P And TMO's very open now, both recruitment and transparency wise. Relaxed (minus one trakanon loss, lololol). Only issue is the batphone system but I don't think that's going anywhere on p99 as a whole. Waking up at 3am to down the dragon is frustrating, but it wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to do it four times a night on Saturday cuz of not splitting up spawns and only having 16 hours of variance.

No... FFA just means sandbox where the players invent their own reasons for PvP. It's really a lot of fun. But yeah I'm super excited for teams [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

There really are tons of nice people in TMO/Nihilum/Azrael, but that doesn't mean you're not the bad guys when you're acting as a guild. It's easy to step on the little guy and you totally do even if you run around rezzing them afterward :P

Maybe it's better now with the forced rotation. I never understood why people would play on a blue server if they weren't going to work together to share the loot and stuff. EQMac was big on being friendly and it almost made me want to play there.

How does killing xyz mob make me the bad guy? They're more than willing to buy the cleric epic MQ after i get done pearljacking them :P And because we're not done acquiring more raiding tools. Even with my vast hordes of characters I could use more resist gear on quite a few of them, my pullers (2) need bladestoppers, which aren't cheap. My warrior could use puppet strings, maybe an AoN, and still a green scale though the VP weapons are sufficing for now. The level of competition at 60 requires these things to get targets consistently. I bought 7 DA idols this week and used every single one in VP (by proxy, handing them out, again I sit at zone in :P). Also completed 2 soulfires--used 1, saving 1 for a VS sock.

Admittedly I think the selling of epic MQs really rubbed people the wrong way and made relations break down between top tier guilds and others. It's just pretty awesome to log on, port 30-40 dudes into hate and just zerg rush inny down while bda is buffing at zone in or whatever. Class R guilds haven't competed on a FFA mob in like a month--even the easy shit like fay / sev!

Lol :P

The limited resources are what make endgame pvp so meaningful, and from a blue perspective they totally make those guild relationships meaningful as well. I think it's pretty sad that the GMs had to start enforcing a raid rotation for you guys because you didn't even try to share, just like it's sad they had to start enforcing LnS pnp on red.

We're all so goddamn mean [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Name two members you find offensive in TMO today. My guess is you'd come up with something like alarti/tiggles, both of which have basically ghosted (though not alarti's fault--he's busy weekends and we've had nothing but weekends). Alarti is also more of a forum personality than a real problem in game.

If "play on red" threads seriously annoy you or ruin your day, you really need to turn off the computer and go find your life, wherever you left it. Seriously, grow the fuck up.

Yes, but it's rehashing of the same topics repeatedly, with the same general insults which are also half-begging. It's sad, truly, and unbecoming of a pvper ~
