It's so bad that TMO is threatening to report me for swiping VS loot while they were discussing it. They let the body rot long enough for global looting rights, so it's their fault. What I did is allowed.

Let smalls rmt to red server imo. Then watch the hate rain down on him and his newly acquired gear remains on a corpse at all times.

It works this way until a Gm sees the petition, then you get banned or suspended and lose the item.

No. Body rots long enough to be lootable by anyone and someone isn't keeping it protected, then it's fair game. There's no rule that says you can't loot it if you didn't kill it.

Really? Ninja looting a kill that was not yours with killers present is a-ok by play nice policy? This news is surprising to me.

If the killers took so long to decide on the loot that the corpse rotted to the point where ANYONE could loot it, then it's LEGAL for ANY player to loot it, by the games own rules.

It's the guilds fault for not having someone kneeling on the corpse to make sure nobody else could get it. Their loss. Fair is fair.

Everyone who I've seen ninja loot raid mobs has been suspended.

Would be surprising and against precedence to change that now I think.

Although I have heard of a few instances where items were "accidentally" looted by someone and GMs let them off with a wrist slap/transfer of item to the right recipient.

How many of these lame red posts will it take for you red trolls to realize that nothing you post/fraps is going to bring more people to that server. EQ was not developed for PVP, and the atmosphere on red99 in particular everytime I log on reminds me of a middle school cafeteria.

I would maybe log on to mess around occasionally only if I was allowed to transfer blue chars to red with full gear, or atleast no drops. Other than that, this server is dead as fuck and needs to be taken out back and shot. Velious will be the nail in the coffin for red99; not enough players to kill half the bosses in full cooperation let alone with PVP clusterfucking.
