If I have to, yes. I won't buy milk if its being inflated, I'll look for alternatives. If that means I have to go a few months eating dry wheaties, so be it.

Sorry but i'll always try for a better deal on a item unless its super cheap then i'm trying to get my tell in before any other guy. And what you think a price isn't set in stone. And i'm the opposite of you. I will advertise something for more knowing i'll get haggled down some in the end but then again i like spending time in EC. Easy way to make money.

Nothing you said changes what I said. You are just talking one day vs another, I am talking the whole process together. If nobody wants to pay "your price" and you wont negotiate, the item never gets sold. My position is that you MUST be willing to negotiate on items unless you enjoy low balling yourself for no reason.

Prices on this server are arbitrary and constantly fluctuating. Most have an "WTS XXXX" price that varies 10-20% between people. One day someone auctions an item for 4.5k, another day its 7.5k. How are you to assure me your price is the correct one? You can not stand here and say "This item is worth this price 100% absolutely without a doubt". If nobody else on the server agrees with you, how do you intend to sell it?

Economics is a social science, not a mathematical formula. Don't forget that.

Milk isnt a necessity. I can get my calcium other ways. I can find alternatives for my breakfast.

or you can go up to the counter and ask if they price match, show them the price of said milk at the store 3 miles away and get the reduced price?

That's valid, and I can accept that. My issue is I just hate the haggling process. I don't to sit there "negotiating" in tells for ten minutes every time someone makes an offer on an item. That's the reason I lower my prices. If you're ok with haggling, and you jack up your prices anticipating it, more power to you. You and I will probably end up never sending each other tells in EC because I will think your prices are too high and you'll try to get me to lower mine and I'll just say no. It's not a big deal.
