Was playing around an enchanter and noticed something weird. Now my understanding of enchanters (animation) pets is that they will always use lowest delay weapon you give them but never actually use the damage of said weapon if its i below their base damage. It also my understanding that enchanter pets are not supposed to use large damage weapon they will equip them but still do their base damage. Unlike mage and necro pets who will use weapon you give them and their damage if it is greater than pet base damage. Today and yesterday i was using a rusty halberd on the level 4 enchanter (animation) pet and it was doing 20 max damage. Rusty halberd are base 10 damage weapons. -------------- PS Further testing level 4 and level 8 pets using rusty two hander damage rating ie 9 dam for their damage. --------------- PPS Spent some plat and got a regular halberd of the weapon merchants 28pp . Gave to even con level 8 pet he was doing 28 max damage. i really do not remember enchanter animation pets following this behavior. I saw this from necro pets and mage pets but not from enchanters <shrug>
