It can work well. Earlier spells are less efficient but lower mobs have a lot less hp relative to damage. Hp on mobs post 40 skyrocket exponentially. That's what makes that jump from 53-54 to 55+ so hard. Db mobs go from 2500 hp to like 5kish just in 1 lvl (around lvl 40?)
