Current state of World of Warcraft?

The problem with WoW isn't necessarily the game itself (even though I would argue it is flawed in almost every way) but it is the stupidity of nearly everyone you meet in the game. The only way to play WoW is to get in a close knit guild, shield yourself from general chat, or your IQ will drop daily.
