As it stands now, its remotely possible to play a select few classes solo, but if I wanted to play a rogue for instance, might as well go fuck myself because that ain't happening, even if you find a group once in awhile because even in groups the xp bad bad bad

I don't mean to sound disrespectful to the staff but this type of xp was fine on live servers with 2000+ people and an active community to always group with. On a server, even if this server had 500 people, it would still be excruciating to level as groups are rare, and if you don't play a select class or know someone to PL you are screwed.
Are people here living in a time bubble? At launch this server was the shit, but now.... Also, I do remember the twitch interview with Rogean and Sirken talking about how they wanted players to have slower xp so that when one has to log off they are still within grouping range when another logs in. That's fine and dandy but that is only going to benefit a select few people that start this server together. I would be willing to bet the VAST majority of players who are coming into the server have no affiliation with anyone and are coming into EQ the way they did in the past, alone and new. In the 21st century, the last thing i want to do is auto attack a light blue mob with a rusty dagger for 2 minutes only to have to sit for 5 minutes to repeat for over 100+ hours just so that I can get in a group to raid pixels. | ||
