If your capable enough to upgrade a 5 year old laptop you should be capable of building a computer able to run EQ for probably 350 dollars. Hell check craigslist for a 150 dollar desktop. Usually they are a dual core with enough juice to run EQ.

this is what i used for mine too. its nice for the wattage (always go higher than shown, mine showed 410 and i went with 850) and the compatibility filters are A+
