Welcome to P99! There's lots of people in the low levels on the server but most don't start grouping until 10+. Use those first 8-10 levels to re-familiarize yourself with the game.
Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the server rules in the Project 1999 FAQ
here. That's great that you want to get your family into the game as well! The more the merrier. Make sure to read the bolded section
'Can I play with my roommate/family member? It says there is only one account per IP allowed' on the FAQ I linked or this link
here. If you plan on playing together in the same house there are certain procedures that have to be followed to allow this to happen.
