![]() maybe using "pixels" isn't the best measurement of your exp progress...

![]() I was told that the code for exp on p99 isn't classic, but not sure how accurate that is.
Whenever a post or question comes up like this my reaction is always the same: When you're leveling a character, no matter what race/class combo, 50% of the way through lvl 54 is exactly halfway to lvl 60 from lvl 1. In other words, the experience that it takes you to get from lvl 1-54.5 is equal to the experience it takes you to get from 54.5-60. When you think of 1-60 in those terms, how slow the exp gain is through the upper 50's just makes sense a bit more.

When you couple that with the fact that killing the same mob at level 55 will give you less experience than it did at 54, and the fact that we can't measure any of this completely accurately (without cheating and using ShowEQ or something) it makes sense that killing the same mobs at 55 would seem as slow (or almost as slow) as 54.

![]() Each hell level adds a .1 modifier to your total XP required to reach the end of that hell level. So 30 needs about twice 29 but at higher levels the .1 extra on the mood is a relatively increase than earlier.
Mobs won't give less XP at 55 than 54 unless the mob is light blue or green. Read the XP formula info on the wiki.

Wow look at that! My statement was true! Who would have thought? (aside from anyone who already knew how xp worked in EQ)
