You have to understand the mechanics behind it: a new player joins p99, wants to get a fungi tunic for his new rogue he has massive plans to level 60 and raid vp.

New player Buys plat online.....buys fungi tunic from quido for example for 100k pp then quido slips that pp in to his bank and funnels it out to say plat lord for 1.50-2 dollars per k, plat lord sells plat for 4 dollars per k to new player who buys another fungi camped etc etc..

Half the time the newbie quits.....the other half holds on fore awhile and quits...etc etc..
