Generally you can roll a bard if you get him really drunk first. Thats not hard, every time you put a drink in front of them they will down it. After they are unable to stand, get a hot girl to talk to him, just have her ask him to meet her in the alley.
They usually pass out all by them selves and then you can roll them and take their wallet pretty easily. Same thing works on Sailors and Coasties.
