Nothing to do with us liking eachother, i've engaged him about conversations on the leaderboard to make the server better in the past.

He provides a leaderboard to make the server better, I provide a guild that doesn't need to be given an allowance. We have a common purpose.

I am not opposed to this at all. I have absolutely 0 problem with it, I think it's a good idea... Historically this server has shown that it takes VERY long for anything to go live. This shouldn't mean we stall the leaderboard.

Leaderboards miss the point of EQ pvp entirely imo... though to be fair I tend to be on the losing side more often than the winning side :P
