Actually competitions get 67% of non VP mobs and 100% of VP mobs. Along with more VP mobs than in the past.

They made out like bandits but they're unhappy because they can't practice pixel denial against anyone other than IB now.

Here, I'll do it from your point of view.

Rogean laid the smack down on us for being too awesome and used the excuse of some high profile member cheating and have access to a massive pile of our accounts as an excuse to raid ban us. Now he's forcing us into negotiations on the raid scene.

We tried to hand the casuals a couple Naggy/Voxs and one Inny/CT a month but they didn't want any of it. Filthy casuals, not accepting our generous 10% of the raid mobs.

Whoa... they want 1/3rd of the mobs? Screw that noise, okay fine we'll let them have TWO Inny/CTs and a VS per month. But they have to promise not to touch Trak or anything in VP.

Okay they didn't go for that. Now rog is going to nearly double the raid mobs each month via 2 simulated repops? Okay, we'll give them a couple mobs off one of those repops.

Well damnit, that asshole Chest isn't agreeing with us. Neither is Azure Guard, Divinity, Taken, A-Team, Europa or Supremacy. But goddamn that BDA fucker Chest is a real cuntwad.

Now they've forced this deal on us where we get more mobs than ever before but at the same time... A-Team is getting Epics. Motherfucking goddamn Chest. We will never forgive him for this. Guess TMO & FE better merge so we can peg IB together.

Baalzy, you left out the parts where Unbrella, Sloan, and Doraf rambled on for pages about how awesome competition was, and how people who didn't want to compete shouldn't get pixels. And the part where Rogean did an SQL query and showed that the top raiding guilds were less than 5% of the total population [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

But really I think the class 'c' guilds made out like bandits. They don't actually get 67% of the mobs because of the way the bag limits work and repops limiting them, but they mostly get the mobs they want (VS, CT, Trakanon) and while they do give up a few Talendors (does it matter?) they get 2x as much VP, which clearly makes up for it.

During the whole course the competition guilds bash on Chest because he didn't fold and ignore the fact that most of the other non-competition guilds felt the same way. So, despite the fact that a population of players 2-3 times greater than the competition guilds did not want any of their deals they pin it all on Chest.

The long term strategy here, in the spirit of competition, is for IB to go into class R and either A) ignore your rotation and grief you or B) enter your rotation and make your rotation even longer and more insufferable.

I'm sure this isn't the only reason why you hate Chest. I don't really care that you hate Chest.

I just find it funny/stupid when people pin the raid rules on Chest as if he had enough pull to have singlehandedly pulled it off when the actual history is completely different.

Infact, if I were Chest I'd probably be kind of flattered you think he's got that much sway.

I've never talked to Chest or had any kind of interactions with him. He very well could be the cock suckiest cocksucker of Cocksuckertonville and deserve all the other ire that's directed at him, but at least get your facts straight as to why you hate him.
