Couldn't be further from the truth. FE wanted to beat their competition first, pixels were secondary. It was probably the least loot hungry guild I've ever been in. Nothing changed. Those same people still aren't loot whores.

We didn't merge with TMO for more loot. We did it because we were looking for a guild to merge with in preparation for Velious, and our previous allies didn't work out. TMO leaders were respectful, and had been friendly with our leaders ever since TMO was reformed and leadership changed. I'm not going to say "new tmo" is a different guild or something, but so far everyone's been cool and we're happy with the merger.

So if TMO is now so big and powerful & if IB is so weak then... who are you competing with? I'm just seriously baffled by this, since by all the bragging going on it seems like FE merging with TMO is setting the server up for absolutely no competition.

Just seems like the statement 'We want competition and we're not loot whores' is at complete odds with the reality of the situation.

Also you're misunderstanding why the class C guilds wanted mergers. The mergers weren't to strengthen us against competition, they were necessary because velious mobs are going to require larger raids. FE wasn't going to be going into NToV with 30 people and expecting to clear it. Neither was IB. It was the same idea FE and IB had, just with TMO instead.

Have you actually ever raided in Velious? It doesn't require larger raids, it requires people knowing there roles at raids and skillful tactics. Raiding Kunark is nothing like raiding Velious.

I also know that the class C guilds want to kill Vulak and Vyemm and AoW as soon as possible. Ans it's not happening with 30 super skilled players and a regular raid composition.
