Default Eq on the go

Hey all, I'm just curious about the idea of taking project 99 with me on the road. I do wish to keep my top little like a mini laptop or something. I'm just asking as to I don't really pay attention to laptops much (don't really care for them). Any suggestion as to something that would run project 99 okay and keeping my laptop small. Would love to keep it at like a 12" screen if possible. Any suggestions or if anyone else does this just let me know.

I can't help you on small laptops, I'm sure there are plenty of options though.

What I can tell you is I used to play a lot of p99 on a laptop using a dongle for my internet connection. The ping was good, rarely did I get lag. Eq is very low bandwidth. On top of this I wouldn't lose my nets if there was a power cut / tripped fuse.

I still keep a pay as you go one spare for emergency nets!

I think the requirements would be hit with just about anything considering the hardware of computers when EQ came out and the following years. Of course this is just a guess though. I have seen someone with a top of the line computer on the "real" EQ in a crowded area and they had huge FPS loss. I think that is just an EQ issue and not a computer issue since they get over 100fps on games with like 20x the requirements :P

Surface Pro, 1 or 2, depending on what you can afford.

my x220 (pic related) runs EQ easily. dual boxing also. It's got a 12.5" display, full keyboard, webcam, and fingerprint scanner.
$470 on ebay last fall. came with a 2015 warranty.
