The current TMO isn't the same TMO when FE was formed. I don't know if they changed or if most of the old scumbags quit and now its only decent people left or what.

I have a few friends in IB but they made a mistake thinking they could force FE to merge with them while acting like assholes. They thought severing the raid alliance would force FE to either shit or get off the pot. They forgot FE was the reason they were able to get started here and raiding again within a few weeks of deciding to come back. TMO in turn was happy to oblige FE leadership requests for a merger and now IB is left getting an 8th of the mobs.

And that works...until you read the month of Raid Discussion forum that's now locked away/deleted during TMO's suspension and the precursor to the new raid rules. All TMO and FE wanted was competition, and they were severly pissed off the casual scum were going to stifle their competition. Then we get new rules and they join forces, first with IB, then TMO.
