Heartbrand, it basically came down to your ego - the fact that people left your tag for another they liked more, despite the fact that everyone remained united in cause. The stuff you fed everyone about needing a single guildchat is cockamamie bullshit - that bridge could have been crossed when the need arose (in Velious).
The alliance could have been handled amicably and productively, but you raged out and didn't give it a chance. You're the one who betrayed the alliance, because you wanted everyone under YOUR tag. Rather than try to work things out (you say you did, I say you're a weakling if that's your best effort) you take the easiest (and most pathetic) road out. You may call it a victory, but I call it a hollow victory; you and yours will eventually tire of the scraps you are receiving. You could have had so much more (and this place could be consistently fun), but you are too weak.

Jeremy, you're arguing points selectively.
Azrael disbanded from RD. We already had the chance to do something you call moralistic or righteous. We already were fighting Nihilum. Azrael players wouldn't move without the go ahead from Lite. I really could care less if you all quit. If you can't play this game under any other leadership - especially when your guild lacks numbers and NEEDS alliances - you're worthless. I really don't see how you guys imagined that situation differently. Lite and his boys literally said nothing to anybody about fracturing off from RD. You did it like snakes. And now you want to still be friends after trying to take our members? You act like Azrael reforming should have changed nothing between us. I really don't get that. You blindsided us and recruited from our player base WHILE trying to ally with us? And then what? Take mobs under a non DKP system, or a freshly wiped DKP system? Or just to take first dibs on mobs? You act like Lite has 0 ulterior motive there, and yet we geared the fuck out of your players over the course of a few months. Whether or not that loot was earned, you guys left for Azrael to accumulate more/ because Lite has the ego the size of a planet and thinks he can lead better. The alliance was already in place. Half (or more) of the members who left for Azrael didn't even want to split off in the first place. The fact that Salem and Lite had enough influence on you cowards to ignore your spine and join Azrael with the alliance already built, and then come at us on the boards and call us spineless is fucking astonishing, bro. Now that you know how we feel, I can lay it out for you pals. I'm glad you're all bored and on the verge of quitting. I hope you find the courage to do so. You've proven to us in technicolor that you're incapable of being under any other guild tag, and you've done it in the shittiest, most cowardly way possible. I like a three guild server. I really do. But I also happen to dislike one of those guilds a great deal and don't want them to have any of the raid mobs because of the shitty things they're all responsible for (and should be responsible for). You guys can continue logging in and run this thing to its logical conclusions. We have no interest in Azrael as of right now. A lot of you are good people, helpful players, good PvPers. But right now, it's just not going to happen. The opposite is, in fact, as you've witnessed. I know it's difficult for you to understand why we aren't bothered when you say "18vs 82 omg faggots." Frankly, it's because none of us care. The initial cowardly things you did to Red Dawn usurp any hatred/ appeal to morality you can possibly throw at us. The fact that Brobb or Jibeknn don't see or care about the shitty way that Azrael bolted is hilarious. They honestly just lack imagination (or maybe just have too much of it). The reason we're doing this far simpler than you or they think. We don't like you. But good luck. | ||
