Game Mechanics: Mobs w/ Dagger of Dropping in Splitpaw

Almost 100percent of the time after getting "weakened" by a mob carrying a Dagger of Dropping in Splitpaw, your previous strength buff becomes "glitched"/bugged. The proc from dagger of dropping overwrites your strength buff just fine but when the debuff wears off, your str buff is gone and you are given a "your spell cannot take hold" message when you try and reapply it. Only relogging seems to fix the issue.

Strangely enough, about 10% or so of the time a new strength buff can be applied without problem. Strength of earth seems to fail every single time while strength of stone has a higher success rate of reapplying without relogging.

I noticed that when I dispelled the weaken debuff, my str buff came back.
