It's for the online digital downloads. Great deal and you get to play Imperials. Who else is gonna play? I am playing an Argonian Templar.

Where from? I got 20% off from GMG last month, so $64 for the imperial edition. Good deal IMO.

Correct. The Imperial Race is only if you buy the special edition of the MMO.

Only if u buy the expensive version. Imperial tied to imp editionl. Also allows you to play any race on any faction.

It's pretty sleezy to lock a race behind money. If this was F2P then it would make sense, but on a subscription based game? No.

That being said, I might pick this up for the PS4 as it's about the only way I see myself playing this game.

That's disgusting behavior behind a MMO that's already getting a lot of shitty feedback from beta testers. I know the gaming industry thrives on making what should be a normal game more expensive (see BF3, BF4 etc) but I didn't think Bethesda would be joining in with it.

Fair enough if they release an expansion later on with an extra playable race, but to deny people a core race from Skyrim/Oblivion etc...wtf?
