The problem is the servers high end is population is people living off the government and smoking weed all day and playing everquest. Just look at this technyze dude who streams for example...literally no life but eat sleep and shit everquest.

crystal caverns and tower of frozen shadow are both really fun mid level zones!

new weapons that proc slow (willsapper, that thing from sirens grotto..)
gnome and barbarian masks
plenty of fun tradeable raid drops from kael (those insane monk legs, velium encrusted gauntlets, blade of carnage, horn of hsagra etc)
venomous axe of the velium brood (procs at 1!)
cool looking weapons from DN
bad ass armor textures on the tov/ss/kael armor sets
custom helm graphics on the above quest ones and certain others
helm of the tracker for the rangers
bracers of benevolence quest
20 minute runs to get through skyshrine and it's maze..
lots of new crafting patterns and gear options
new haste options..
plane of mischief .. (a zone few people seemed to visit or understand)

There should be a flag that prevents you from zoning into PoM if you've had "a large warp detected" since the last time you zoned into NToV. Otherwise someone can ghost right in.

2 DAs, And FD you can get there if you are patient and you get a SoW outside. Though CoV faction helps a lot.

Does anyone know when Halfling Paladins and Gnome Shadow Knights came about? I'm really hoping it was Velious...

Also, is it immediate upon Velious release that hybrids lose their exp penalty?

Short hybrids are Luclin.

Thankfully they will never been on this server.

Halflings and Gnomes have new classes available to them: Halfling Rangers and Paladins as well as Gnome ShadowKnights and Paladins. All of the necessary NPCs and items should be available for these new classes.

1. It was not Velious, I believe it was during the LoY expansion
2. The penalties were lifted a few months after the release of Velious

The racism against Halflings here is unreal... That sucks though, I thought it might have been Velious but wasn't sure.
