To pvp properly u must have some key items ex: resists/hp stuff... atleast thats what I remember...

In which case it's just not brilliant to start a melee on a low population box regardless of how fast your going to level. At least get a mage to 35 so you can quest your quest armor and buy some simple jewlery like wolfs eye bracers, +7 or 9 mr neck, low exp still ony takes about 3 days to get a mage to 35. Or druid.

meanwhile those caster classes can pvp and gank semi-geared melees at low level if they play their cards right, don't stand in a tight hallway with a fungi.

I know i killed mrbigs on my wiz at level 20.
