Why were these account unbanned? How could one know?
Some guy tried to feed us some story about him attempting to log into his banned accounts every few days or so over a year or a half. That was very believable.

I think the word exploit is being throw around far too often. This wasn't an exploit and more of a mistake by the staff.
.

Can you define that mistake?

Ok this thread has me somewhat concerned.

I'm very new to P99, but several times I've been asked to do item transfers for random people.

Being the nice person I am I do it for them, but then how do I know I won't get caught up in something that would get my own account banned?

Should I just avoid doing transfers for anyone?

I would love to see accounts tied to cellphones or something similar to help reduce two and three boxing.

Got way too many girlfriends, pet dogs, and nephews in Thailand that are maining buff/port bots.

You are better than this. We talked about it and you dang well know it is impossible to know what someone was thinking when this happened.

Problem is as I explained before. No one really knew what was happening. I think things are easy to see after the fact but during the heat of it that wasn't the case. Most people truly though these accounts were unbanned on purpose.

The only example gained from this case is that GMs can and will change/bend the rules to whatever whim they are currently on.

This statement gives this sever and bad name when in fact there are few dirty players on this server.

For example Lite 2-3 boxes all the time. Wrong yes and slightly dirty but I still would not want him perm banned. I would like for him to stop the boxing though.

This is a simple case of a GM defending the actions of the staff even though they were wrong. Pretty simple really.
TL;DR shut up

How does that person who is just helping even know that? If they did how do you prove it? You cant, really simple.
Perma ban this most toxic player who robs everyone and tries to twist the facts the attacks GM support volunteer staff; remove them from box imo to toxic[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

does not stop to think it may have negative consequences

'deserve' is not a strong enough word for this grand justice

I guess I look at it this way, if I had a perma-banned account (which I don't because I'm not a dirty whistle cheater) and I suddenly noticed I could log onto my perma-banned account, the first thing I do probably wouldn't be to liquidate my droppable items. I'd probably go to petition forum and say "Is this right? I thought I was perma-banned" or I'd go out and pvp.

Probably last (or not on my list at all) would be to liquidate droppables.
