Default Which "getting started" to follow?

I've recently attempted to install the game on another computer and predictably run into issues getting EQ to run.

I noticed there seems to be a different set of instructions between the "getting started" instructions found from link on the home site and the stickied thread "how to play p1999 on PC or Mac".

They differ in relation to making changes to the eqhost file or running the game from "launch titanium".

How up to date are those guides and which should I be following to most easily get EQ running?

Thanks,
Duckwalk

Go with the main 'getting started' guide. if you've already installed titanium all you need to do is download the patch files found in the stickied thread in the 'News and Announcements' forum, extract them into your eq folder (replace all files when prompted) and then click launch titanium.bat (use this whenever you want to start eq, NOT eqgame.exe)
