Also, take a look at the screenshot of the item and compare it to a trakanon BP on the same link. Now compare it to the Rubicite breastplate screenshot. At some point around the launch of Kunark, they changed items to look a bit sleeker when right clicked with a smaller, tighter font.

If the SS of the werewolf skin were real, it's from after the era where the font was changed. If it's an actually an old item from beta/early mistmoore, then someone waited a very long time to submit a screenshot.

Cast shaman spells: Scourge, Togor's Insects, and a couple more. (Did NOT cast a pet)

After keeping everything from the pit to the tower dead for many many hours, he spawned on the bridge connected to the tower. He was a piece of cake for a mid 50's group. Instead of the Werewolf Skin, he dropped for us a Werewolf Tail (All All, no drop, 8 ac, 1 wt, Haste Belt).

So far my guild has logged about 50 hours of camping him, and since we've only seen him the once, we're thinking it's a triggered spawn of some sort. (For the record, he spawned last sunday night). Good luck to everyone on their camp [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Magreck may be a triggered spawn or a hoax ( be nice to run into him and kill though )

pre-kunark everything was camped to beyond camped, and there's just not a lot of mobs that lived longer than 10 seconds in the higher end zones, just cause there wasn't anything to do


it's just impossible for me to think that there was a high end mob that dropped high end items that no one's ever heard of


a clicky illusion item and/or a 41% haste item would not go unnoticed

Hard to tell without the item ID to be honest. There was a tool back then to spoof items with though, and Alla's didn't have the best fact checking.

I would bet something from beta that got nuked with Mayong.
