I didn't like Quake2/3 as much as 1 cause 2,3 felt slow in comparison also railgun is a coward weapon! I did play a lot of Quake 3 Arena (MOD) though!

quakeworld/q1 > q3/qlive, its kinda like what EQ is to all these other scrub ass mmos

i actually met doomer IRL during rapture99, which was a quakeworld NA vs EU 4v4 tournament, got flown out for free to scotland bros.. EU team beat us out 5 games to 4, but they were close even matches after QW was pretty much dead in the US and gaining steam in EU, people in EU still play that shit lol
