Given the history of peoples actions on this server it's reasonable to assume they knowingly exploited this bug, probably with the assumption of the worst repercussion being that the items get removed.
It's time to start laying down the hammer so people stop exploiting everything they can.

I logged on tunak yesterday it was such a happy moment for me. I was able to let all the Red99 stress go and just be happy on the box for a moment. I was really hoping it would last but I didn't think it would. The friend who helped me transfer doesn't deserve to be banned and I don't think anyone should. Some of these characters have been banned for over a year and undoubtedly people have sentimental feelings about them and would have a hard time resisting the temptation to log in their old toons.

When I originally got banned I was told Rogean believed in second chances and that some day I might be able to get my toon back. I didn't really trust that was what had happened and I asked a friend to hold the gear for me just in case. My friend doesn't even have a forum account but I will encourage him to petition with the locations of all the items now that we have a formal statement made about the event.

I hope that everyone will do the same and that consideration will be given to all who come forward. However I was really hoping that this would last. I'm not sure about anyone else but for me a lot of the hostility and animosity surrounding this server have to do with my original ban and when I logged into that character the weight was lifted for a moment.

Tunak got permanently banned by Lord Protector of the Box Rogean for stripping and deleting my character. Everyday that I wake up I log into norrath, do a /who all tunak, and then let out a sigh of relief when I see that white text; I know immediately after norrath is safe from that thieving scumbag.

You cant Hide it, the searched the banned account then follow the individual ITEM ID numbers. even if you VPN, and level 1s and dropped on the ground, they can trace the item itself from the banned account to any hands.

i just wanna know how they knew to check the banned accounts... dont tell me you neck beards that have been banned check you're account every fucking hr of the day. If you do... plz commit suicide

sadly enough, i was told the accounts were unbanned....so i feel a victim of this. I leveled up 3 wizards, and all 3 wizards have been banned with my manastone i will never fucking see again.

from seeing the other people who were banned log in, and word of mouth. Thats how i found out, but im the ONLY Red Dawn who had to chance to see their banned character. Although ALL of my accounts are the same with a number or a letter change. I occasionally accidentally log into my banned account to do bad memory.
