This is the most nonsensical argument I've ever heard. If you want to kill the guards while he kills the shamans, kill the freaking guards. If I'm killing the goblin preacher in Permafrost to get a Runed Circlet and the rest of the room is green to me, why would I kill them? Play the way you want, but it's ridiculous for you to insist that other people play your way.

I'm not leaning either way, If someone doesn't answer a camp check, and you run over there and see more than half of the mobs at his camp. Obviously there was a misunderstanding, but if someone called him an asshole I have no problem with that, does that make them a rage a holic? i guess so

I don't think you understand what the camp even is. The shamans have a couple drops that people want, the guard drop nothing significant. The guy who had the camp was killing the center shamans and leaving the guards on the outside.

If the guy asking for a CC wanted to kill the guards on the outside, the guy that had the shamans camped would have let him.
