It is not about whether the service is free or not. Anyone who invests their time in the project has a right to voice their opinion even if they dont donate! Since they are not open about how much money they get in donations, you have no fucking idea about financial status of the project, so cut the free entertainment bullshit, when in reality they could be making nice money.

oh and btw, its not free when we all have paid for the game! Im using EQ copy I have bought with my cash and I have spend thousands of dollars on subscriptions! They did not create the game. They use its popularity, emulate it and collect donations. Its not fucking free.

1500ppl on the server according to Rogean. If 20% donated 10bucks per month on average, you would end up with 36k $ per year. I know some people who donated hundreds of dollars.

I know one thing for sure. No one is going to invest their time AND their cash in a project where they dont get anything in return. But maybe they are bored millionaires who just blow most of their time and a lot of cash on providing "free" service to 1500 nekbkeards and get a kick out of that. I dont know. What I know is that I dont like this "shut up its free" argument, because its BULLSHIT.
