Variance isn't going to do anything. The same people getting the loot now will get it with or without variance. It just baffles me why RD would even want it. You can't get a mob now when you can organize to contest it for literally a month if you wanted, and you think somehow that if it spawns randomly you'll be able to organize in time to do it? At least HB is being reasonable with his requests, asking not for Nihilum to be essentially punished for their domination but for another set of random repops on the raid targets. Last I checked variance was dramatically reduced on blue because it ruined the game for a lot of people. Why the fuck would they enable it here?

Maybe part of the reason Nihilum is unwilling to do anything is because your methods? If I remember correctly there was at least talk in the beginning of allowing RD to take some raid targets? Now its thread after thread asking the GMs to step in. What happens if they enable variance and it does absolutely nothing to change the situation (which is wouldn't)? Are you just going to start making posts to raid suspend Nihilum just so RD can have the shit uncontested? It's funny as shit to me really, you talk about how you want to compete and PVP but you want the GMs to put methods in place where you can stealth a mob without having to contest for it. All the PVP you could possibly want is right there for you. Sorry that the deck is stacked against you but you're taking a 3 month old guild that isn't even half filled with 60s, isn't even in full pre-kunark planar loot against a 2 year old guild knee deep in VP geared alts.

Velious is in a few months. Maybe work on getting your guild stocked with enough 60s with their spells to start contesting the extra 50 raid mobs that are about to get added. There are raid targets on 8 hour timers that drop near BiS loot. There will be plenty to get done and plenty of loot to keep members interested.

HB tried a different method where Red Dawn and Nilly were on friendly terms. I was in nilly during this. Nizzar wanted full control on how Red Dawn was. If any little thing happened nizzar would threaten them grief. This happened about 10 times in one month. Then nilly decided to go grief mode because Red Dawn took naggy one day. Nizzar is a tyrant and he benefits from his members greatly which is why he doesn't work. Its why he monopolies as many pixels as he can. This is not a game to him, its business.

We haven't had 38 at any kill today, also a group or 2 ported to CT/Ferrott so wasn't 38 at solb.

Also you camped from pvp...are you gonna camp from pvp if variance is put in?

Then you had 3 groups run from 1 group and called guild LnS then denied you called it and were caught back in the zone again in less than an hour

Simulated repops solve about 99% of the problems with this server instantly. Literally the only argument is it "floods" the economy, as if a server with 200 azure robes and donal bp's needs to be worried about being "flooded."
