I think asshole has always been the norm, and that sometime in the late 70's / early 80's - mostly due to the rise of women's lib - movie directors decided to paint a very romantic picture of the last century in general. WTF is that recent american trend of using extremely bad grammar, are you doing it just to be cool or are you just that ignorant that a french canadian whose mother tongue is french can glance at your texts and spot a bunch of errors that kids here in primary school would be ashamed to have made?
