Default oldschool patchnotes

Question,

were the patch notes sony put out also saved on the client side on a .txt file?

If so I have my old computer from 1999 and everything is still intact. Trying to figure out how to get the old files off. I have sata and thats old school ide ribbons

each patch also updated spellfiles and things that the base installers never touched (even when installing expansions, files were never updated or replaced, only added) - all file modifications were directly from patches (eg: spell files). Therefore your spell files are probably interesting to look at also
