Was it letting you log to the character screen, then you pick a character, black screen for 5-10 sec, then back to character select?

Had that this weekend but not yesterday

use the daoc portal, and click on CUSTOM SHARDS

port 10300

many times server is up and not on portal list, connect directly. You can also hit f5 and refresh and see if its green light or red, They are configuring the new server be patient. And just level up.

If you want to ball , roll mid and send huggies a tell.

Useless in pvp though, maybe if u wanna farm solo, but i regret using zerg time to roll a necro. COulda been cleric or infiltrator with it.

Would be my first ever real DAoC character though. Never really played the game much.
