I think the casinos are cool, although I don't play them. That being said, they should move to the Shady Swashbuckler. From an RP and courtesy perspective, it's just better. It's not the /ooc or /auction spam that bothers me, it's the /ran spam. Move to Shady swashbuckler and people who want to game will go there. Hell, you might even get some bored traders to move there so they can gamble while they sell.

Players shouldn't have to alter their UI/filters to not be annoyed by someone. In the long term, it does your business good to not be on the /ignore list of everyone that comes to EC when you are operating. I wish you all luck and I'm curious about some of your games. What's the minimum and maximum bet for your games, Tookie? And what games do you offer?

I live in massachusetts where there is a casino debate right now. It is kind of awesome how similar this thread is to what I hear on the news and radio.

I don't mind you doing it just not in my back yard!

In the end we all must remember that casinos bring jobs to P99 for people who may otherwise be unemployed.

I think player run Casinos are stupid and I'd ban anyone who advertised one if I ran the show.

Lucky for them, I don't. Although it was a glorious time in FFXI when they cracked down hard on RMT and started banning thousands of accounts each quarter for RMT activity. The Casinos disappeared overnight.

See I shouldn't have to move because YOU dont want to see random rolls! Stop being lazy and unfilter your random rolls. It's not that hard.. I've tried shady and t2... zero business happens out there, and most the time people tell me to come to T1 cuz they can't move.... So if it's not the /ooc or /auction that bothers u just turn off random rolls not that hard guys... You say, YOU shouldn't have to turn off ur filters? Well I shouldn't have to move to shady...

I love the casinos, and all the more roleplaying I been seeing going on! I would hate to see them go.. I mean, I was able to buy some vegetable pie and vegetable stew the other day from the grocer!

While I can understand all the randoms could be annoying... but if you are just porting through, you will not see them long. If you are going to be there a while, just filter it off? Or like some have said, limit the auctions per such and such whatever.

Personally, I like it all as it is... It is kind of like what gives the game part of its charm. A lot of socializing, (and now roleplaying) goes on there.

If you move them to highkeep, I highly doubt anyone would go there just to play casinos. Call me lazy, I know I wouldn't.

Doesnt matter quick and simple fix, instead of trying to RUN someone out of an area.. we can all share T1, if you can't you should probably quit cuz you got issues.
